Now that the trail to the trestle is nearly complete, construction on the recreational span from Montgomery County to Chester County is well underway.
After evaluation and formulation of a rehabilitation plan, construction of the trestle’s structural integrity was the first order of business. It won’t be long now until regional runners, walkers and cyclists will have safe access to the Schuylkill River Trail and Royersford’s Riverfront where more progress is planned.
