Grant Application Update

The Borough of Royersford, with the assistance of ARRO Consulting, has officially applied for a significant grant to underwrite the next phase of the Save the Trestle project. If awarded, the grant will be funded through Pennsylvania’s Multimodal Transportation Fund and would fund initial rehabilitation of the trestle linking Montgomery and Chester Counties and the Riverfront at Royersford to the Schuylkill River Trail. The Save the Trestle Project has the support of State Representatives Joseph Ciresi and Danielle Friel Otten and State Senator Katie Muth who contributed letters in support of the grant application. If awarded the grant, positive progress on the trestle over the Schuylkill River will start to be noticeable!

You can still be a part of this community building movement! Every contribution helps turn a defunct eyesore into a community connector, please contribute to the Save the Trestle Campaign administered by the Schuylkill River Greenways today: click here.
