RE: Royersford Trestle Bridge Project

As President and CEO of The Lewis Group, I am aware that Royersford Borough is pursuing grant funding to restore the trestle bridge spanning the Schuylkill River between Royersford and Spring City.
The Lewis Group is headquartered in Royersford and employs more than 100 local employees. We maintain additional locations throughout the eastern seaboard, but proudly chose Royersford as our corporate headquarters. At this location, we also operate an office and flex-space complex aptly named Riverfront at Royersford and proudly host more than a dozen businesses and an additional 100+ employees, making this one of the largest employment hubs in Royersford.
The connectivity to the Schuylkill River Trail and Royersford riverfront trail systems is a huge attraction for the employees located at the Riverfront at Royersford. We applaud the ongoing revitalization efforts of the overall riverfront including the new floating dock located at Arch and 1st Avenues. This has been a great addition and helps us attract and retain quality staff.
The companies which have chosen to locate at the Riverfront at Royersford complex have done so in part due to the ongoing community revitalization efforts, proximity to the river and the connectivity to the Schuylkill River Trail; this renovated trestle will be a tremendous improvement in terms of safety, convenience and experience. We are incredibly excited and proud to support these efforts.
