Growing Support and a Grant Application

Recently, Royersford Borough applied for a Multimodal Transportation Fund grant through the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development. An updated application was filed in mid-September, providing additional details and highlighting the transportation benefits of the trestle connection.

The project continues to garner widespread support which was further bolstered by a visit from State Senator John Rafferty and State Representative Tom Quigley on August 31. Both have pledged their support for this important transportation and economic development project.

A final version of the feasibility study should be completed in the coming weeks and we thank Bob Thomas and his team at Campbell Thomas & Co. for their continued efforts to bring this full circle.

Please continue to promote this project and SaveTheTrestle.com
